Accounts & Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an individual who is meticulous, organised and detail oriented to join our group as an Accounts & Administrative Assistant. This role is based in Singapore and provides support for Finance and Administration. Given our regular interaction with clients and colleagues globally, it is important that you have excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written, and a good phone etiquette.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

> Finance
> Assist in book-keeping activities
> Verify and check suppliers’ invoices and update into accounting system
> Check expense claims
> Prepare schedules for quarterly GST operating
Assist in invoicing
> Update AR and credit controlling
> Run adhoc reports
> Ensure documents are filed and maintained accurately
> Assist with recording and reporting of accounts receivable and accounts payable
> Follow up for payment collections
> Consolidate and update financial spreadsheets
> Assist in reconciliation activities
> Update fixed assets schedules and conduct monthly asset account

Administration

> Purchase pantry and stationery supplies
> Responsible for general office maintenance
> Answering phone calls in a professional manner
> Sorting and distributing mail and courier
> Assist in logistics for trade events
> Assist in team events
> Any other admin tasks as and when required

REQUIREMENTS

At least a Diploma in Accountancy, Business Administration or equivalent
Min. 1 year of relevant experience in handling partial set of accounts
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and have a good knowledge of Quickbooks and Xero.
Fresh grads may be considered.
