Business Development Representative, EMEA

At Ground Labs our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are the cornerstone of our success and future growth. Do you want to be an instrumental part of a fast-growing global software company where you will convert inbound, warm and legacy leads, as well as outbound calling, into qualified leads for the pipeline. You will work closely with your Enterprise Salespeople to drive new business from SMEs to the largest companies across the EMEA region. You will learn how to convey the value that Ground Labs’ solutions bring to organisations and their customers, employees and shareholders.

You should be comfortable making cold calls and able to engage middle and senior level managers within IT departments. Enthusiasm combined with a strategic, data-driven mindset will help you to succeed while being coachable and a self-starter will enable you to thrive on the front lines of this fast-paced industry. As such you will be responsible for generating outbound meetings, personalising and managing your own sprint campaigns and working within a global team that share new and innovative ideas. Fluency in your English is a necessity in order to be able to describe a technical product to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

> Build a pipeline of opportunities for your Enterprise Salespeople to convert through modern multi-touch outbound Sprint campaigns.
> Convert new inbound and marketing generated leads into qualified opportunities by ascertaining the scope and size of the organisation and how we can fulfil their security needs.
> Strategize with your team to create and execute personalised campaigns to penetrate into our target market segments.
> Develop your market and product knowledge through engagement with clients, and relay that information back to the business and greater sales team in person and via salesforce.com.
> Produce and report your measurable sales activity results on a weekly basis.

REQUIREMENTS

> Experience working in a BDR/ SDR position within software sales.
> Ability to self-motivate with a passionate, results-based focus for achieving results.
> Technical aptitude and the ability to learn and use new concepts and tools quickly.
> Excellent written, verbal and listening skills in English, which need to be demonstrable through email, phone calls, client webinars, internal meetings and on-site presentations.
> Able to work both autonomously and also within a greater team environment.
> A questioning nature and the desire to learn, none of us know it all and being coachable and able to put feedback to use is vital.
> Proven ability to influence others with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both in person and digitally as well as a knack for establishing credibility.
> Comfortable handling client objections and negotiation skills.
> Customer obsessed.
