Peter Duthie is the co-founder and Chief Architect of Ground Labs, where he leads the company’s innovation and technology strategy. He developed the core technologies that power Ground Labs’ solutions, enabling organizations to discover, identify, and secure sensitive data across their environments. Peter also built the engineering team responsible for delivering Ground Labs’ enterprise and SMB products.
Before co-founding Ground Labs, Peter was Chief Architect at Sensory Networks, a pattern-matching technology company acquired by Intel. His technology continues to be used by major security vendors to accelerate security appliance performance. He previously held senior engineering roles at Permabit (acquired by Red Hat) and Paceline Systems (acquired by Motorola).
Peter holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Sydney and is the inventor on multiple patents related to accelerating anti-malware security technologies.
As Ground Labs’ Head of Human Resources, Daphne is responsible for overseeing the development of the company’s global human resources strategy and programs, including talent management, employee relations, compensation, benefits and training.
Daphne brings over 15 years of human resources experience with a proven ability to develop relationships and support employees across different levels within an organization. Prior to joining Ground Labs in 2018, Daphne held manager positions at Intergraph Process Power and Offshore Pte and Lexmark International, where she directed the human resources functions for the Asia Pacific region.
Nellie Manktelow is a Board Member and Head of Operations at Ground Labs, where she oversees the day-to-day running of the business, working closely with the leadership team to align performance, people, and operating structures with the company’s commercial goals.
With over 20 years of experience across operations, people, and organisational strategy, Nellie has worked across investment banking, technology, and business services. She previously spent eight years at Ground Labs in senior roles, before going on to lead global people and talent functions at Sygnum and GoGlobal. Earlier in her career, she held business management roles at NatWest Group (formerly Royal Bank of Scotland) and ABN AMRO Bank across Hong Kong, London, and Singapore.
Nellie holds a degree in International Business from Royal Holloway, University of London, and brings a strong people-first approach to leadership. Beyond work, she enjoys playing tennis with her family and has a passion for classical music, particularly Mendelssohn and Vivaldi.
John Cassidy is the Head of Global Sales at Ground Labs, where he leads the company’s global sales strategy and revenue growth.
A seasoned sales leader with over two decades of experience, John specialises in transforming ambitious technology businesses into high-performance, predictable revenue engines. Having led teams across Europe, Asia and the Americas, he brings a strong focus on scaling operations, building high-performing teams, and driving sustained growth—an approach he also carries into his role as a rugby coach outside of work.
As Chief Technology Officer, Maxime directs the technological vision and product strategy for Ground Labs.
He has experience across a wide array of industries—from cybersecurity and adtech to finance—and in companies of all sizes, from innovative startups to established European tech giants.
This diverse background underpins his expertise in harnessing the power of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, allowing him to lead complex architecture and engineering initiatives that drive innovation and solve critical business challenges.
