As Ground Labs’ Co-founder, Stephen Cavey leads a global team empowering enterprise partners to discover, manage and secure sensitive data across their organizations.
Stephen has deep security domain expertise with a focus on electronic payments and data security compliance. He is a frequent speaker at industry events such as PrivSec Global, and his expert analysis has been featured in media outlets including the Financial Times, Entrepreneur, SiliconANGLE, among others. He is also a member of the Entrepreneur Leadership Network and Forbes Technology Council.
Prior to Ground Labs, Stephen held leadership positions at Paycorp, an integrated electronic payments solution provider owned by KKR. Stephen also served in engineering roles with Webpay, a payment services provider later acquired by Fidelity, and Webtel, an early Australian ISPClose
As Ground Labs’ Co-founder, Co-CEO & Chief Technology Officer, Peter is responsible for driving the company’s future innovation. He created the foundational technologies that empower Ground Labs’ customers to discover, identify and secure all of their sensitive data. Peter also assembled the engineering team that created Ground Labs’ solutions for its enterprise and SMB customers. He is currently based in Austin, Texas at the company’s North American headquarters.
Before co-founding Ground Labs, Peter served as chief architect for Sensory Networks, a provider of pattern-matching technology for network security applications that was acquired by Intel. Peter developed the company’s core technology which is in use today by major security vendors to accelerate their appliance and hardware performance. He has also held senior engineering roles with Permabit (acquired by Red Hat) and Paceline Systems (acquired by Motorola).Close
As Ground Lab’s Head of Finance, Nazirah leads the company’s finance strategy, including controllership, FP&A, tax, treasury and transfer pricing. With more than 15 years of experience, spanning multinational corporations as well as start-ups, Nazirah is passionate about automation and harnessing business intelligence tools to drive business insights.
Prior to joining Ground Labs, Nazirah served as Finance Controller for CRH, the world’s leading building materials group in Asia Pacific. She also has significant experience working alongside senior leaders in chartering the worldwide strategic direction for Hewlett Packard manufacturing arm for its technology products.Close
As Ground Labs’ Head of Human Resources, Daphne is responsible for overseeing the development of the company’s global human resources strategy and programs, including talent management, employee relations, compensation, benefits and training.
Daphne brings over 15 years of human resources experience with a proven ability to develop relationships and support employees across different levels within an organization. Prior to joining Ground Labs in 2018, Daphne held manager positions at Intergraph Process Power and Offshore Pte and Lexmark International, where she directed the human resources functions for the Asia Pacific region.
As Ground Labs’ Head of Global Sales, Carrie is responsible for growing the business worldwide, expanding Ground Labs’ partner program and leading the Enterprise Sales, Channel and OEM teams. With her extensive background in technology sales and global channel management, Carrie is an invaluable member of the Ground Labs team.
Carrie has nearly 15 years of experience in sales leadership and management roles at security companies including Mimecast, BeyondTrust, Trend Micro, and BoarderWare. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Channel Sales at CyCognito and Vice President of Sales at iSheriff, prior to its acquisition by Mimecast, driving growth in sales, channels and alliances across all business units.Close
As Ground Labs’ Head of Global Marketing, Sarah leads the company’s marketing strategy including corporate communications, brand awareness, demand generation, product and partner marketing, analyst relations and go-to-market operations, and is responsible for advancing the Ground Labs brand around the globe.
Sarah has more than 16 years of experience developing and managing strategic and marketing initiatives for B2B technology companies including SailPoint and BeyondTrust. Before joining Ground Labs, Sarah served as Vice President Global Marketing at Radiflow.
